‘Future Stars’ recognition for four Donegal footballers

The Future Stars XV which includes four Donegal girls.

Queen’s University, Belfast honoured its first ever ladies’ football Future Stars team on Tuesday night with four Donegal girls making that exclusive cut. 

St Columba’s Comprehensive School, Glenties, had double representation thanks to the inclusion of Emma McDevitt at corner-back and Ava Caulfield at centre half-forward. 

Loreto, Letterkenny’s Niamh Bonner was named at centre half-forward while county senior star Katie Dowds of St Columba’s College, Stranorlar, was selected at midfield.
