Mark Callaghan took Setanta all the way in Ulster last year as was part of the side who won at Dungloe on Friday
Even without their 10 county men, Setanta still had far too much for Dungloe away from home in the Senior Hurling League.

Last year’s Ulster JHC winners scored almost at will and showed that they have some pretty serious strength in depth. Dungloe did the best they could as the winners surged to a 1-14 to 0-3 lead at the break.
It got no better for Dungloe after the break as Setanta tacked on 4-8 to Dungloe’s 1-2. Setanta had nine different scorers and they eased into a 1-5 to 0-2 lead with Colm Melaugh getting the first of his two goals.
Kevin Campbell landed two points from frees and Conor McGettigan and Marc Devine was also on target with Brendan Boyle replying for Dungloe.
They hit nine more points, with Dean Harvey posting two, Kevin Campbell landing three frees, Josh McGee Cronolly got a point and Marc Devine, with Melaugh, Conor Gallen and Caolan McClintock completing the scoring. Dungloe had two more points from Eoin Walsh.
Setanta hit four goals, two coming from Marc Devine who also hit two points and Conor McGettigan also pointed. Dean Harvey and Campbell had further points as had Colm Melaugh. And sub, Simon McMenamin hit the final goal. Caolan Kelly also got a point for Setanta to complete their scoring. For Dungloe, Brendan Boyle and James Hartnett replied.
