Naomh Conaill proved too strong for a battling Cloughaneely at Davy Brennan Memorial Park.

Eoghan McGettigan continued his comeback from long term ACL injury for the victors with an impressive 0- 6, with three of the points from play.

Daniel Gildea, John O’Malley, Brendan McDyer, Kevin McGettigan and Leo McLoone all get their names in the scoresheet for the locals. The eight-point winning margin for Martin Regan and his charges was a good response to last weekend’s one-point defeat to Kilcar in Towney.



Sean Geaney, Darren McGeever, Ciaran Coll, Darren Ferry, John Fizgerald, and Paul Sweeney all scored for Cloughaneely, who find themselves at the wrong end of the league table. They are second from the bottom, one better off than Killybegs and one adrift of Sean MacCumhaills.
