For the second week in a row, Naomh Padraig had to be happy with a share of the points after they played St Eunan’s in Pairc MacDiarmada.

After last weekend’s dramatic draw away to Urris, there was more high drama on Friday as Naomh Padraig came from seven points down at half-time to lead by a point going into the closing minutes. But the hopes of a second win were dashed by a late David Boyle point for St Eunan’s.

In a cracking game of football and the proverbial game of two halves, St Eunan’s were the better side in the first period. But the locals dominated most of the second. Brian Breslin, Cianan Doherty, Conor Breslin and Martin Monghan scored the goals for Naomh Padraig.

Dylan Doogan notched the two St Eunan’s goals, with David Boyle, Jake Whelan, Jake Whelan and Conall Dunne scoring the points for the men from O’Donnell Park.
