Two-time Olympian Danny McDaid with members of Glenswilly GAA club at the official launch of their 5k this week
Glenswilly GAA Club this week launched their annual 5k, which will take place on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:30pm.
There is a fun run and walk (fast course), and an Athletics Ireland-permitted race, with registration taking place Monday 19 from 7pm to 8pm in the clubhouse, and also on the evening of the event from 6pm. The entry fee is €10 for adults and €5 for children. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the promotion and development of underage teams at the club. Refreshments afterwards in the Clubhouse, with Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure sponsoring the event.
