Daire McDaid scored 1-2 for Termon in their victory over Red Hughs
Daire McDaid and Barry McGeehin scored the goals as Termon came from behind to see off Red Hughs, in a feisty encounter at the Burn Road.

Red Hughs took the fight to favourites Termon and Calvin Bradley kicked the game’s two opening points. Daire McDaid got Termon off the mark 13 minutes into the game and Jack Bradley landed two quick points to extend the Red Hughs lead by the end of the first quarter-hour.
But a Daire McDaid goal on 21 minutes reduced the Red Hughs lead to one point. But thanks to Calvin Bradley’s third point of the half Red Hughs led 0-6 to 1-2 at half-time. Daire McDaid scored all of Termon’s first-half scores.
A Barry McGeehin goal early in the second half got Termon up and running and with points from Patrick Fagan, Steve McElwaine and Kevin McGettigan, the locals had turned the game around. The hosts led by five points 2-5 to 0-6 by the middle of the second period.
Calvin Bradley pulled a point back for Red Hughs on 46 minutes before Termon closed the game out with points from Cormac Gallagher and Jamie Grant to one more from Calvin Bradley. The end of the game was marred with a dust-up involving players from both sides.
