Darren McCurry of Tyrone in action against Eoghan Ban Gallagher, left, and Jason McGee of Donegal during the Allianz Football League Division 1 match last year
If the numbers 1-15 are to be considered the starting team - never a guarantee - it means Jason McGee will start against Tyrone in tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-final against Tyrone.
Aidan O'Rourke's side sealed second place in Group 4 of the round-robin stage with a fine 0-19 to 0-17 win over Monaghan at Healy Park last Saturday and the panel list released for their clash against Tyrone in Ballybofey sees the Cloughaneely midfielder come in for Odhran Doherty of Naomh Conaill. McGee missed out last week with a hamstring injury. Donegal opened with a 0-14 to 0-9 win in Ennis against Clare before losing 3-14 to 1-15 against Derry.
Tyrone finished in third place in Group 2, finishing off with an 0-18 to 0-18 draw against Westmeath in Cavan having lost to Galway 0-16 to 0-13 and defeating Armagh, 0-13 to 0-11, beforehand. The winners of tomorrow's clash, which throws in at 7pm, will take on one of the group winners in the quarter-finals. Kerry, Armagh, Dublin and Derry are already waiting in the last eight. The other preliminary quarter-finals see Galway welcome Mayo, Cork at home to Roscommon and Monaghan making the trip to Kildare.
