Donegal's third Ulster title in 1983 came 40 years ago this month

We look back at Donegal's victory over Cavan in 1983 which saw Seamus Bonar become the first Donegal player to win three Ulster senior medals. We also look at where the participants ended up

Age 21. His father Jackie was Donegal goalkeeper in the 1954 All-Ireland JFC final in Croke Park. Tommy himself won an All-Ireland Colleges B medal with De La Salle, Ballyshannon in Croke Park in 1980.  Centre half-back on the All-Ireland winning U-21 team of 1982. Played for Advanced Colleges. A student at Sligo RTC.

Tommy went on to win two Donegal SFC medals but emigrated to London in late 1980s and still lives there.
