Seamus Coleman was in Croke Park this afternoon to see his cousin Dessie Farrell lead Dublin back to the All-Ireland title as they edged Kerry 1-15 to 1-13. The Everton and Republic of Ireland skipper is currently rehabbing towards a return from injury.

The victory marks Dublin’s 31st All-Ireland senior football championship and first since the six-in-a-row was completed in 2020.

Stephen Cluxton, Mick Fitzsimons and James McCarthy have been there for nine of them. They are now the most successful Gaelic footballers of all-time.

Michael Murphy, former Donegal captain, was part of BBC’s coverage alongside Mickey Harte and Oisin McConville.
