Termon are the All-County Football League Division 2B champions following their narrow win over Four Masters at Davy Brennan Memorial Park in Glenties.

Termon 1-7 Four Masters 1-6

James Gallagher and Paul Mallon scored two late points for the Burn Road side as they came from behind to snatch a winner in a cliffhanger of a finish.

Captain Gallagher dedicated the win to former team member and clubman Anthony McGrenra who died last year. 

There was little between the teams through with Four Masters who more economical in front of the post led by two points, 1-2 to 0-3 at half-time.

 

Conor Meehan top-scored for Masters with a goal and five points posted all three of his sides first half points. 

Paul Mallin scored two and Rory McGrenra the other for Termon in that first half. Mark Gallagher and Conor Meehan traded early points on the resumption before Patrick McDaid got on the end of a good move to drill home the Termon goal.

That was on 37 minutes and Termon was ahead for the first time. Seanan Carr levelled the final shortly after at 1-4 each. But Termon who produced a strong finish to the first half kicked three points to Masters to two to take the title.
