Adrian Sweeney in action for Dungloe, against Neil McGee.
Adrian Sweeney has joined Na Rossa after a transfer request to leave Dungloe was finally rubber stamped.
The Donegal Competition Controls Committee (CCC) had originally turned the request down but following a special hearing on the matter, it was finally given the green light.
Na Rossa, under the guidance of Declan Bonner, made the Division 3 All-County League decider this term and even though they were defeated in that final by St Naul’s, they still progress up to the second tier regardless.
Na Rossa will compete in the Junior A Championship where they’ll have Na Rossa, Naomh Conaill, Naomh Padraig Lifford, St Eunan’s, Naomh Padraig Uisce Caoin and Urris for company.
