Glenswilly are U-15 Donegal Division Two champions following their narrow victory in a cracking encounter in Ardara.

Glenswilly 2-10 Dungloe 2-8

Just two points separated the sides at the finish as the champions were put to the pin of their collars by the boys from the Rosses. The winners played with a strong wind in the first half and only led by two points at half-time after Dungloe got off to a dream start.

Dungloe took the fight to the boys from Pairc Naomh Columba with two cracking goals from the elusive Kyle Bonner.
Bonner pounced for the first of the goals as early as the opening three minutes. And he added the second three minutes later when he waltzed by a number of defenders to slide the ball past James Toner in the Glenswilly goals.

Six minutes into the final, Dungloe led 2-0 to 0-1. The physically stronger Glenswilly boys slowly found their rhythm.
Matthew Enright who went close to finding the Dungloe net in the opening seconds finally hit the onion bag on seven minutes.
Glenswilly tagged on three points to tie up the game by the ninth minute. And they were ahead shortly after with a long range strike from wingback Matthew McGinley.

Dungloe twice cut the lead back to one before Enright, a young man built in the mould of the most famous Glenswilly full forward Michael Murphy sent his team in at the break, 1-8 to 2-3 up.

A Paul Mallon goal for Glenswilly literally from the throw-in propelled Glenswilly, into a 2-8 to 2-3 lead. And while Dungloe with points from Kyle and Paddy Bonner did reduce the margin to two by the 40-minute mark. But that was as close as they got with Glenswilly hanging on at the end for the narrow win. Matthew Enright, Luke Patton and Lucas Cannon were the standout players for the champions. Kyle Bonner, Danny McCready and Paddy Bonner shone brightest for Dungloe.
