Naomh Conaill big winners over Naomh Padraig of Lifford in Junior A Championship

Naomh Conaill turned on the style with a big win over Naomh Padraig, Lifford, in this Junior A Championship tie, in Davy Brennan Memorial Park, on Saturday afternoon.

Naomh Conaill 3-12 Naomh Padraig, Lifford 1-6

Daniel Gildea, Mark Burke and Neil Francis Boyle scored the goals for the winners who dominated most of the 60 plus minutes. 

In all, Naomh Conaill had eight different scorers compared to Naomh Padraig’s three. 

Brian Breslin was once again the main man in front of the post for the men from Pairc MacDiarmada. 

He scored five of his side’s points in another impressive outing for the stylish centre half-forward. Full forward Kevin Lynch scored the Naomh Padraig goal.

Hot on the heels of last weekend’s first round draw away to Na Rossa Naomh Conaill have sent out a clear message they are going to have a big say in where the Dr McCloskey Cup resides this winter.
