Naomh Conaill and Glenswilly have hit high peaks before - but this week some club members scaled new heights.
Ahead of this weekend’s meeting of the derby rivals in the Donegal senior football championship, Naomh Conaill manager Martin Regan was joined on a hike up Errigal by some Glenswilly stalwarts.
Regan, who has guided Naomh Conaill to the Dr Maguire Cup in 2015, 2019, 2020 and 2022, surely have been quizzed heavily by the Glenswilly men on the 751m hike.
Denis McGrenra, Mick Murphy and Joe Kelly were pictured with Regan on Donegal’s highest peak.
The shrewd Regan has shown his powers since taking on the Naomh Conaill job in 2015.
Naomh Conaill welcome Glenswilly to Davy Brennan Memorial Park for a 5.30pm throw-in on Saturday in round four of the 2023 Donegal SFC.
