Moville were defeated in the Junior A final by Na Rossa a fortnight ago.
Moville’s objection following their Junior A final loss to Na Rossa a fortnight ago has been unsuccessful.
The Donegal Competition Controls Committee (CCC) met on Thursday night to deliberate on the Inishowen club’s gripe, which centred on the accusation that Na Rossa had 16 players on the field, at one stage, during the second half of that clash in O’Donnell Park.
Declan Bonner’s team came from behind late in the tie to win 0-15 to 1-10. However, Moville’s challenge to the validity of that victory has now failed.
The Donegal Junior champions can now continue to look forward to their Ulster opener, against Fermangh’s Lisnaskea in Letterkenny, on Saturday, November 4.
