The sides were all level at the break, 1-3 to 0-6 with Cian Sweeney’s late three-pointer keeping the hosts in check.
Ardara’s other scorers in that first half hour were Eoghan Gallagher, Lee McCabe and Joe Kitterick.
Burt’s half-dozen overs were supplied by Niall McGlynn (0-3,3f) Cormac Ferguson (2) and Oisin Kerr.
Arara got the second period off to a flier with Walsh blasting a penalty high into the net and with Gallagher adding another point, Ardara were able to keep their Inishowen opposition at a narrow arm’s length during the remainder.
Before the end, Walsh, Lee McCabe and Josh Malley all clipped scores for Ardara while Shaun McConnell grabbed a third goal.
Burt’s remaining haul was supplied by McKinney, McGlynn and pointed frees from Kerr.
