Nominations released ahead of Donegal GAA's Annual Convention

Cieran Kelly, Mary Coughlan or Sean Dunnion will replace Fergus McGee as Donegal GAA Chairperson at next month’s Annual Convention.

McGee announced his decision not to seek a second season in the chair last month and he will replaced by one of St Naul’s duo of Kelly and Coughlan, or Four Masters’ Dunnion.

Alan Boyd has completed five years as treasurer and four people - Frankie Doherty, Grace Boyle, Mick McGrath and Paul McGonigle - are vying to replace him.

Fiona Shiels has not put her name forward after one year as PRO, with Sinead Breen, Sorcha Ní Gallachoir and Ed Byrne the three who will contest things.

A management meeting was scheduled for Monday night in Convoy and the list of all nominees for the various positions were then released. Annual convention takes place at Jackson’s Hotel in Ballybofey on Wednesday, December 13.
