Yvonne Bonner and her Adelaide Crows teammates take on North Melbourne on Sunday morning in the AFLW Preliminary Final.

The match will be Adelaide’s fifth Preliminary Final in the six seasons they have been scheduled, including the cancelled 2020 matches.

The Kangaroos, meanwhile, earned the right to host the Preliminary Final after triumphing in their Qualifying Final against Melbourne a fortnight ago.

Bonner was in goal-scoring form last time out with her two efforts helping eliminate the Sydney Swans, who had another Donegal girl in their ranks, Tanya Kennedy.

The winners of Sunday morning’s clash will advance to the 2024 AFLW Grand Final on December 3.

The Kangaroos have the advantage of holding hosting rights as well as an extra week’s rest, but Adelaide won the minor premiership after finishing top of the regular season ladder, which sets the stage for an epic contest.
