Buncrana GAA unvail Eamon McGee as their new senior football team coach.
Buncrana boss Gary Duffy has added 2012 All-Ireland winner to his backroom team for the 2024 season.
The pair have previously worked together with the Donegal U-20s and Duffy will be hoping McGee’s input can help push them out of Division 2 next term and also aid their efforts in the IFC.
The club had this to say about the appointment on their social media: “Buncrana GAA Club is very happy to welcome All Ireland winner and Donegal legend Eamon McGee as part of Gary Duffy’s management with the senior men’s football team.
“Eamon brings a wealth of experience at the highest level, both as a player with his club Gaoth Dobhair and Donegal where he won a National League title, three Ulster senior championships and, of course, the All-Ireland in 2012.
“Eamon has won numerous Donegal senior championships with his club and played a pivotal role in their Ulster success in 2018.
“Together with Gary he was involved in the Donegal Under 20 management team for the past two years and makes the step into a club coaching role for the first time outside of his club Gaoth Dobhair”.
