Charity was the winner in the GAA match between the Circet staff and a Donegal All-Star select at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny.
Donegal Hospice and Little Angels School are to be the benefiting charities following a game that was won by Donegal 9-11 to 2-17.
At half-time, it was Cirect who were in front, on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-5, with Rebecca McGinley and Aidan McHugh the goalscorers for the Circet, while Mark McHugh and Tiktok influencer Eric Roberts netted for Donegal.
Harry Harden, Dean Kennedy and Eddie Blake all hit points for Circet, with Michael Murphy showing well for Donegal.
Goals from Martin McElhinney, Eamon Gee and Gary McFadden put the Donegal Select into a 5-7 to 2-11 lead on 45 minutes. Former Glenswilly defender John McFadden hit the sixth goal before Murphy got in on the act. Jason Quigley and Mark McHugh’s second sealed the win.
