Jim McGuinness's first competitive games in his second term as Donegal manager will be against old foes Armagh and Tyrone.
Donegal have been drawn against the Red Hand men and the Boys from Armagh in the Dr McKenna Cup after the draw was made this evening. They are in Section A.
Section B sees Derry, Cavan and Down while in Section C Monaghan, Fermanagh and Antrim will compete.
The opening games will be played on Wednesday, 3rd January with the other group games on January 7th and January 10th.
The semi-finals are scheduled for January 13th/14th with the final on January 20th.
Jim McGuinness will have his first competitive outing with Donegal this Sunday when they take on Roscommon in a challenge game in Fr Tierney Park at 1.30.
