University of Ulster take on UCC this Thursday, February 1st with a place in the semi-final of the Freshers A competition at stake.
Under the management of former Donegal minor and U-21 player, Anthony McGrath, there is a big Donegal involvement in the UU team.
They include Aodh Ruadh's Eoghan Kelly and Aaron Cullen; Ryan Barrett of Realt na Mara, Bundoran; Karl Joseph Molloy, Ardara; Eoin McGonigle, MacCumhaills and Adam McGeever, Gaoth Dobhair.
The UU side are on a mission to make up for losing out in the league final after extra-time. They went down to University Limerick by the minimum, 1-13 to 4-5.
Their quarter-final takes place at Ardclough GAA grounds with a 7.30 pm throw-in
