Towney GAA pitch
Kilcar GAA club are having their 100 celebrations launch night – Áislann Chill Chartha on Friday March 15, 2024, at 8pm.
A notice on the club website reads; “Join us for a night of history and nostalgia as we celebrate the history of this great club, with guest speakers, old footage, photos and club items from over the years and lots more.
“It’s a night not to be missed for all supporters of the club. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.”
The club is also having a men’s and ladies’ centenary match this summer in Towney to mark the 100th year of the club, which will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
“To celebrate our centenary, we are giving you a once in a lifetime chance to play in Towney and wear the club jersey and play against a home-based Kilcar team,” the website read.
