Action from Dungloe's win over Ardara
There were opening wins for An Clochan Liath, Gaoth Dobhair and Chill Chartha in the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta this weekend.
First up on Friday night, An Clochan Liath went to Ard an Ratha and, in a tight tussle, came away with a 1-12 to 3-9 win at Pearse Memorial Park.
On Saturday, Gaoth Dobhair hosted Ghleann Fhinne and goals from Stephen McFadden (2), Cian McAteer and Niall Friel helped the hosts to a 4-9 to 1-4 victory. Kieran Gillespie also chipped in with two points for Gaoth Dobhair.
Finally, at the Burn Road, Chill Chartha were fire-point winners over An Tearmainn at 1-12 to 2-4. Eoin McHugh netted the goal for the visitors
