It was a very happy St Patrick’s weekend for Naomh Ultan man Michael McGlynn who captained St Pat’s Emerald City GAA club to the New Zealand senior championship as the club won the football title for the second consecutive year. 

This year's tournament was hosted by the Queenstown Gaels club and took place in the Queenstown Events Centre. 

McGlynn and his side saw off teams from all over the two islands, adding to their Men’s and Ladies Auckland Championships captured a fortnight ago to make it another successful season for the club.
