In Pictures: Donegal's seven promotions to Division 1 over last 36 years

On Saturday last in Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow, Donegal won promotion to Division 1 for the 7th time - the first coming under the guidance of Tom Conaghan in the 1987/88 season.

Donegal will meet Armagh in the Division 2 league final on Easter Sunday with both teams promoted to Division 1. That was achieved after six league games, Donegal defeating Kildare in Carlow and Armagh defeating Cavan in the Armagh on Saturday of last week.

The win means both will play in the top flight after just one season in Division 2. It was Donegal's seventh time to gain promotion to the top flight.
