Donegal referee James Connors
Donegal referee James Connors will be the man in the middle this Saturday in Owenbeg for the Division 2B National Hurling League final between Derry and Tyrone with throw-in at 5.30pm.
Connors has been refereeing in Donegal since 2009. He joined the Ulster Panel in 2013 and has been a member of the National Referees Hurling panel since 2016.
He has referred at all levels, with the St Eunan’s club man last season officiating games across Lory Meagher, Nicky Rackard and Christy Ring Cups.
Connors has previously refereed two All-Ireland finals in Croke Park between Warwickshire and Leitrim in the Lory Meagher Cup final and Armagh and Sligo in the Nickey Rackard Cup final.
Last season Connors took charge of Roscommon v Armagh in the Division 3A Final in Páirc Tailteann.
