Moville were much more clinical on Saturday in this All-County League Division 3 clash with Letterkenny Gaels as Evan Hudner and Joshua Lafferty both hit the net for the hosts

Moville got their new All-County League Division 3 season off the mark with a good win over Letterkenny Gaels on Saturday evening. 

It took the locals a while to get into the tie after Gaels had got off to a lively start and there was nothing between the sides in the first half as they departed locked on 0-4 each at the midpoint.

Danny Murphy, three points, and Dylan Doherty, one, were the Moville  scored in the opening 30 minutes. 

The locals upped their game in the second-half and goals from Evan Hudner and Josh Lafferty set Moville on their way to an opening day victory.  

Moville scorers: Danny Murphy 0-6; Evan Hudner 1-0; Joshua Lafferty 1-0; Dylan Doherty 0-2, 2 ‘45; Seimi McLaughlin 0-1.

Letterkenny Gaels scorers: Adam Duffy 0-2; Rowan Smith 0-1; Shay Doherty 0-1; Ben Gallagher 0-1; Conor Browne 0-1 Joe Kelly 0-1.
