Carndonagh were much too good for Naomh Padraig, Lifford in their opening day clash of the new Division 3 season on Saturday afternoon. 

Conor McLaughlin, Michael Noone and Cathal Doherty scored the goals in a tie where the victors had 12 different scorers over the hour. 

McLaughlin,Cian Doherty, Noone, Odhran O’Donnell, Kyran Cantwell, Will Quinn, Danny Monagle, John O’Callaghan, Anthony Doherty, Conoir Fagan and Richie Cunningham were also among the other scorers on a day where the locals were far superior. 

Justin McBride, Brian Breslin and Marty Mongan were the Naomh Padraig scorers. 

Carndonagh scorers: Conor McLaughlin 1-3; Cian Doherty 0-6; Michael Noone 1-2; Cathal Doherty 1-0; Odhran O’Donnell 0-3; Kyran Cantwell  0-3; Will Quinn 0-2; Danny Monagle 0-1; John O’Callaghan 0-1; Anthony Doherty 0-1; Conoir Fagan 0-1 Richie Cunningham 0-1.
