The Dunkineely-based side came good in second half to open their Division 3 campaign with a win

In a close contest in Pettigo on Saturday evening, Storm Kathleen proved very difficult for both sides.

Pettigo had the advantage of the gale in the first half and turned over at half-time two points ahead, 0-4 to 0-2.

Naomh Ultan were able to use the storm in the second half as they came back to edge the contest with Cian Kennedy and Luke Gallagher to the fore.

It was Naomh Ultan’s first game of the season while Pettigo had lost out in the opening game to neighbours Naomh Brid.

Pettigo scorers: Ollie McCaughey 0-2; Patrick Carr, Shaun Robinson, Aidy Britton 0-1 each.
