Naomh Muire travelled to Inishowen at the weekend and maximums from Eoin Martin and Daniel Devlin helped the Lower Rosses men to two valuable Division 2 points

Eoin Martin and Daniel Devlin scored the goals as Naomh Muire edged out Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin on Sunday afternoon.  

Naomh Padraig led by a point at half-time at the end of a low-scoring first half as the two teams battled with a swirling Storm Kathleen that made scoring almost impossible. 

Naomh Padraig 1-2, Naomh Muire 1-1 was the score at the break. Wing-back Mickey McCarron scored the Naomh Padraig goal and Devlin tucked away the Naomh Muire goal. 

The second period was a close affair with Naomh Muire having edged one ahead, 1-5 to 1-4  when, five minutes from time, Martin struck for Naomh Muire’s second goal to cap a top-class performance and ultimately clinch the win for the men from the Rosses.
