Donegal Minors will play in Ballyshannon this weekend
Donegal’s second-round Ulster minor championship clash with Tyrone will now be played in Ballyshannon this Saturday at 12pm.
With the game originally scheduled to be played in MacCumhaill Park at the same time this weekend, Donegal GAA has announced that the match will now be moved to Ballyshannon.
This comes following the rescheduling of the Donegal U-20's match against Armagh, which was to be played in Ballybofey last night but was cancelled yesterday afternoon due to weather conditions and will now be played in O’Donnell Park on Saturday.
It’s important for all fans to note that Donegal’s minor match is a ticketed affair that must be purchased in advance. Ulster GAA confirmed that there will be no ticket sales at the venue.
Barry Ward’s side defeated Fermanagh in the opening round last weekend on a scoreline of 3-13 to 1-4 and will now hope to make it two wins from two over the Red Hand County.
Donegal were never really troubled last weekend once they led by six points at the break, 2-4 to 0-4, after playing into the teeth of Storm Kathleen, but know this Saturday’s clash will be a much tougher challenge against their Ulster rivals
