After the heavy defeat to Buncrana the previous week, Termon bounced back to winning ways in Division 2 on Saturday evening at the Burn Road with a 3-7 to 0-9 win over Naomh Muire.

This defeat was the first in the league campaign for the Lower Rosses men.

The foundation of the Termon victory was in the first half as they hit the visitors with three goals. The first came with just two minutes on the clock from Enda McCormick who contributed a 1-3 total for the evening.

Twenty-two minutes into the game, Naomh Muire trailed by just a point before the hosts hit 2-1 in a four-minute period with Jack Alcorn scoring both goals.

With Termon leading 3-4 to 0-4 at the break Danny O'Donnell's side had to come out fighting in the second half, and they did as they scored the first three points of the second half before Ryan McFadden and McCormick steadied the ship again for the home side.

Naomh Muire's corner forwards contributed the bulk of the scoring with Eoin Martin on 0-5 and Harry Hayden finishing with 0-3. They host Buncrana next Sunday while Caolan McDaid's Termon are off to Donegal Town to face Four Masters.
