The 2024 Future Stars team which contains three Donegal players
Three promising Donegal footballers have recently secured spots on the prestigious Future Stars Gaelic Football team for 2024.
Conor McCahill, from the Abbey Vocational School, shines as a formidable presence at full-forward, Cathal Ó Gallchóir, representing Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, showcases his prowess in a wing-back position, while Eoghan Gallagher, also from the Abbey Vocational School, displays his skills as a wing-forward.
The Future Stars initiative, administered by Queen’s University, contains rigorous trials where players must outperform their peers from across Ulster.
A ceremony in Belfast on Tuesday celebrated the achievements of the chosen few.
These exceptional individuals, McCahill from Four Masters, Cathal Ó Gallchóir from Gaoth Dobhair, and Eoghan Gallagher from Naomh Brid, have consistently excelled for their clubs and have earned positions on the Donegal minor football panel this season under the management of Barry Ward.
