Leo Dunphy and Tiernan Ward scored the goals as Naomh Conaill made it five wins from five games with a one-point victory over Gaoth Dobhair, in Magherallon, on Saturday night.
John O’Malley, AJ Gallagher, Ultan Doherty, Dermot Molloy and Dunphy also kicked points for the reigning county champions.
Cathal Gillespie was the leading scorer for Gaoth Dobhair with a tally of 1-5 while Ethan Harkin, Stephen Donna McFadden and Mark Coyle also chipped in with points for the locals. Naomh Conaill led 1-3 to 0-3 at half-time.
The win moves Martin Regan’s men to the top of the table with ten points, one ahead of St Eunan’s who have a game more played.
