Donegal's Ryan McHugh has been awarded the PwC GAA/GPA Player of the Month for April.
The Kilcar native played a pivotal role in securing two exhilarating victories during last month's Ulster Football championship.
After taking a hiatus last year, the dynamic half-back has showcased remarkable form since the beginning of the season.
He orchestrated Donegal's potent counter-attacks, contributing three points in their triumph over last year's Ulster champions, Derry.
McHugh's characteristic overlapping runs proved decisive as they narrowly defeated Tyrone, earning them a spot in the Ulster final, which they clinched last Sunday by overcoming Armagh in a penalty shootout.
Paul Mannion of Dublin and Ryan O'Donoghue of Mayo were among the other nominees for the accolade.
