Fergus McGee and Ulster GAA President Ciaran McLaughlin supporting the fundraiser with county board delegates John McBride and Hugo McClafferty and Minorboard Chairperson/Club PRO Tanya Roberts Browne
CLG Na Dúnaibh have launched a fundraiser to light up their playing facilities.
With 15 teams now from U-6 up to senior, Downings have two fantastic pitches and a training pitch but are limited for space in the winter as their training pitch is too small to accommodate all the teams.
On October 26, they will drop five footballs from a helicopter, and you might become €25,000 richer! Buy a ticket for CLG na nDúnaibh’s Helicopter Drop and you will get a square on our pitch. If the ball lands in your square, you’re the winner!
Funds raised will be going towards floodlights so our youth team can play and train, so it’s for a great cause. A total of 10 prizes are up for grabs with a total value of €35,000. The top prize is €25,000 cash! The website is now live, and open for ticket orders.
