Magheragallon, the home of the Gaoth Dobhair GAA Club.
The Gaoth Dobhair GAA club is advancing plans to move back to the 'old pitch' at Magheragallon.
Gaoth Dobhair have sought permission for a big development at their home.
A second pitch was developed adjacent in 2017 and has served as the primary location for games since its opening.
However, Gaoth Dobhair have big plans now for a major redevelopment of the old pitch.
Permission has been sought for a development of the pitch, to include a spectator stand with 320 seats, a new press area, space for two storage rooms and a shop.
This will be connected to the existing clubhouse.
The planning application also provides for a new scoreboard and a perimeter fence as well as various site works.
Donegal County Council say that a decision on the application is due by July 11.
Gaoth Dobhair has won 15 Donegal senior football championship titles, the most recent in 2018 when they went on to win the Ulster title.
