The draws for the Donegal GAA club championships have been postponed as a mark of respect, following the passing of Mary Martin, Cloghanbeg, Cloghan.
The respective draws were scheduled for this Wednesday, but will now take place seven days later.
"Due to the death of Mary Martin, the mother of County Secretary Declan Martin, the club championship draws have been rescheduled to next Wednesday, July 3, at 7pm in the Abbey Hotel Donegal Town," Donegal GAA PRO Sinead Breen said.
Mary is predeceased by her loving husband Francie, her grandchildren Gareth and Nicola, her parents Catherine and William Ward, brothers Owen, Francie, sisters Brid and Kitty. Sadly missed and never forgotten by her family of Neil (Mary), Liam (Ailish), Francie (Geraldine), Kathleen (Danny), Mary (John), Suin (Francie), Brid (Denise) Sean (Anne-Marie), Paddy (Laura), Declan (Marie), Paul (Noreen), Ann (Johnny), Tommy (Edel), her 42 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, sisters Nancy and Grainne, brother Paddy, nieces and nephews and the wider family circle.
Reposing at her home from 11am Tuesday, 25 June. Funeral from her home at 12.15pm on Thursday, 27 June, for 1pm Mass in Church of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin with burial after in Kilteevogue Cemetery. Rosary each night at 8pm. Family time from 10pm to 11am.
