The points were shared in Pairc na nGael on Saturday evening as the relegation battle in Division 1 will come right down to the wire in the final round of league games.

The result sees Glenfin stay a point ahead of Naomh Columba, St Michael’s and Aodh Ruadh, with Bundoran relegated. County panellists Luke McGlynn and Philip Doherty were available and both scored two points for their respective sides.

Naomh Columba got off to a good start with points from Phillip Doherty and Shane Callaghan free after five minutes, but Glenfin settled with points from Luke McGlynn, a Shaun Ward free and Aaron McGlynn from play.

Another point from play from Phillip Doherty followed before two unanswered points from Jason Morrow and Shaun Ward. Shane Callaghan put one between them before further points from Daniel McGlynn and Odhran O Connor left half-time score Naomh Columba 0-4, Glenfin 0-7.

Eric Carr and Pauric Hegarty cut the lead to one but Odhran McGlynn replied for the visitors.

Then in the 45th minute came the Naomh Columba goal. Darragh Cunningham gave a pass to Paul O'Hare who cut inside and buried the ball to the net to put Naomh Columba in front. Back came Glenfin with points from Ross Marley and Luke McGlynn in the 50th minutes. Padraig Byrne’s point with 53 minutes on the clock proved to be the final score of the game as both sides had chances for goals and points before Enda McFeely called a halt to proceedings with the sides level.
