Jarlath Burns with his Downings GAA club ticket
The GAA President Jarlath Burns was present at Downings GAA club during the week with Donegal Chairperson Mary Coughlan and Ulster GAA President Ciaran McLaughlin, as the Armagh native purchased his ticket in the club draw, with the money going towards floodlights in the club for the youth teams.
This October, the club will be dropping five footballs from a helicopter, with the winner in with a possibility of becoming €25,000 richer.
The idea of the Helicopter Drop is that anyone who buys a ticket will be granted a square on our club pitch. If the ball lands in your square then that person is the winner.
A total of 10 prizes are up for grabs with a total value of €35,000.
