The Naomh Brid GAA club is planning development works at its home ground.

A planning application, in the name of club chairperson, Peter Walsh, has been lodged to Donegal County Council.

The Ballintra-based club has sought the green light to demolish existing storage sheds and for the construction of a new two-storey building located beside existing changing facilities.

If given the go ahead, the new building would incorporate a gym, toilets and changing rooms at ground floor level and a meeting room at first floor level.

Naomh Brid is also planning alterations to the existing car park and the application provides for ancillary site development works including connections to existing effluent treatment system and relevant services.
