Naomh Ultan have requested to meet the Donegal Competition Controls Committee (CCC) in relation to a transfer request from one of its players to join Kilcar.

Jack Hegarty - the player in question - has completed the relevant documentation but that form also needs the signatures of both clubs involved.

The matter was highlighted at Monday night’s county committee meeting where it was also revealed that Naomh Ultan aren’t prepared to sign the document, thereby sanctioning the move.

Usually, most paperwork in such circumstances is signed by both clubs, in agreement, on any transfer.

When it then comes before county committee a proposer and seconder allows the CCC to, in effect, rubberstamp the move.

Naomh Ultan didn’t comment directly on the matter on Monday night but did ask for a meeting with the CCC to discuss the matter.
