It was a great day for Kilcar native james on Wednesday evening as his Monaghan club side Latton O’Rahilly's clinched the Monaghan Reserve C title with a 3-14 to 0-10 point win over Oram in Doohamlet. 

Carr, who is a former player of the Towney club in Kilcar, has been in Monaghan for some time now playing with Latton O’Rahilly's and last night was stationed in the full-back position and also currently serves as the club’s PRO.  

The Latton O'Rahilly's club have won four senior championships in their history, last winning it in 2011 when they overcame Scotstown by one point.
