Naomh Ultan impressed at the weekend with victory over Naomh Padraig, Lifford

Naomh Ultan opened their championship campaign with a double-score win over Naomh Padraig Lifford on Sunday in Páirc MacDiarmada in Lifford.
Luke Gallagher and Patrick White scored the goals and Cian Kennedy kicked six points in a victory that never looked in doubt from early in the contest.
Mark Gavin scored the Naomh Padraig goal and Brian Breslin, Johnny Mahon, Kevin McBrearty and Justin McBride kicked the points for the locals.
Naomh Ultan were well on their way to claiming the win as they led eight points 1-9 to 0-4 at half-time and they never let up despite the Lifford men putting in a decent performance in the second half, but by then, the damage was done as Naomh Ultan cruised to a good championship win..
