Naomh Brid were easy winners in the local derby in the Donegal Junior Championship at Trummon on Sunday.

However, they were hit with a big injury as centre-forward Darragh Brogan was helped from the field inside the first minute with a serious shoulder injury. They also lost Liam Gallagher to injury after 20 minutes.

But despite that they had enough to pull away in the second half. The first half, due to the injury delays, was poor quality with the home side ahead by 0-3 to 0-1 at the break, their points coming from Donal Gallagher, Callum McCafferty and Eoin Rush while Ollie McCaughey had the lone Pettigo score.

In the second half Naomh Brid substitute Aaron McGrory hit 0-4, three from frees while Eoin Rush, Liam Duffy and Kale Breslin had points for the winners. Ollie McCaughey again had the lone Pettigo point in the half.
