Design of the new Four Masters clubhouse in Tír Chonaill Park
Four Masters GAA Club has organised a charity cycle event on September 29 as part of its ongoing efforts to raise funds for a new clubhouse and gym facility.
The cycle will cover a scenic route from Creeslough to Tir Chonaill Park in Donegal Town with around 50 cyclists participating in the event, with all proceeds going directly towards the clubhouse project, which remains a priority for the club’s leadership and members.
Community members and supporters are encouraged to sponsor any of the cyclists to help achieve the club's fundraising goals with the new two-story clubhouse and gym being critical for the club's future, given the substantial increase in membership and participation.
With 33 teams and groups currently active, Four Masters has experienced tremendous growth over the years and the new facility will provide much-needed space and modern amenities for the growing number of players, coaches, and supporters.
The club is calling on local residents and supporters to get behind this fundraising initiative, emphasising the positive impact the new facility will have on the community.
The club has raised almost €22,000 so far by sponsoring a cyclist, while in total, the club has raised 550k over the past three years from sponsorship deals and three club draws.
