Donegal preliminary quarter-finals and relegation play-off matches confirmed

The preliminary quarter finals will take place next weekend

The line-up for the preliminary quarter-finals of this season’s Donegal Senior Football Championship has been confirmed with Glenswilly, St Michael's, Naomh Conaill, and Kilcar safely through to the last eight of the championship after finishing in the top four spots of the championship table.

St Michael's and Glenswilly finished round four undefeated having beaten Gaoth Dobhair and Sean MacCumhaills respectively while Naomh Conaill and Kilcar made up the third and fourth spot on six points but had a significantly higher scoring difference which put them ahead of Dungloe, Four Masters and St Eunan's who also finished in six points.

Meanwhile, St Naul's take on Glenfin and Cloughaneely face Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon in the relegation play-off.

Glenfin and Aodh Ruadh finished on two points alongside Downings, Ardara, and Killybegs, but didn't have a strong enough score difference to make the preliminary knockout stages.

The preliminary quarter-finals are as follows:

Dungloe v Downings

St Eunan’s v Ardara

Four Masters v Killybegs

Gweedore v Sean MacCumhaills
