MacCumhaills celebrate theirJunior B success.
MacCumhaills 2-14
Red Hughs 1-11
MacCumhaills had a little too much for rivals Red Hughs on Sunday as they lifted the Junior B title with six points to spare.
The Twin Towns outfit led 1-9 to 0-5 at the changeover with CJ Doherty landing the goal and county senior star Katie Dowds bagging seven of the points, including six frees.
Passing the midpoint of the second period and Tia Foy grabbed a second goal for the winners and that meant they kept their opponents at a comfortable arm’s length during the remainder.
