Errigal Ciaran lift Tyrone SFC to set up shot Ulster Club shot at St Eunan’s

Errigal Ciaran celebrate their Tyrone SFC final win over Trillick

St Eunan’s will face Errigal Ciaran in their Ulster Club SFC opener after the latter edged out holders Trillick in the Tyrone decider by 0-12 to 1-8 at Healy Park, Omagh.

Ruairi Canavan fired 0-6 on Friday night as he and his teammates gained revenge for last year's final defeat by the same opposition.

Barry Meehan’s Letterkenny outfit will now travel to the same venue next Saturday evening with that preliminary provincial encounter scheduled for a 7.15pm throw-in.

The winners of that fixture will then, on the weekend of November 9/10 in the provincial quarter-final, square up to the Antrim winners, Erin's Own, Cargin, who defeated Portglenone 0-10 to 0-8, after extra-time, in the Saffron decider.

If it's St Eunan's that prevail, they will be at home while the Tyrone winners would have to travel to west Belfast.

The other last eight ties that weekend will see Karl Lacey's Kilcoo, who won Down, welcome the Cavan winners, Crosserlough, who defeated Ramor United 2-6 to 0-4.

The Derry winners - All-Ireland champions Watty Grahams Glen are due to face Newbridge in the final on Sunday - are home to Armagh's winners, with Clan na Gael set to go toe-to-toe with Clann Eireann in the first all-Lurgan Armagh SFC final since 1968, also on Sunday.

With last weekend’s Fermanagh final postponed Erne Gaels, with Declan Bonner at the helm, will now tangle with Enniskillen Gaels this Sunday.

The Fermanagh winners will be in Ulster action against Monaghan's Clontibret or Scotstown, who will also meet on Sunday.

The Derry/Armagh winner takes on whoever comes out on top between Donegal/Tyrone/Antrim in the semi-finals on November 23/24, with Down/Cavan facing Fermanagh/Monaghan. The Ulster Club SFC final is down for December 7/8.
